True Worhsippers @ WorshipGOD 2010 - 1st Night
The first concert of Worship GOD 2010 is awesome!! Incredibly awesome, beyond word and the crowd is 'insane'. Thanks to Sidney Mohede, a season worship leader and well known gospel singer with extraordinaire repertoire. Thanks Jesus for His humble servant Sidney, his experience with his former band GMB (Giving My Best) and True Worshipers (as front singer @ worship leader) has become a blessing to our younger generation.
As he shared the word of God which taken Jeremiah 9:23-24
"Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."
He encourage the congregation to change their mindset to seek His kingdom. "Don't shout and sing and dance because of us or admiring our skill. We are nothing, but open up your heart for Him. Then he continued, the main problem for us is not about giving but more about receiving. As we felt awkward in the position of receiving His grace, His love." At the end of the short sermon, he led the congregation to renew their faith and accept Jesus grace by opening their heart unto Him.
The concert is truly awesome not because of Sidney Mohede caliber on stage but solely because of His presence that touch thousand of hearts.
Before the concert begin, 3000 audiences stood up to sing Negara Ku, great way to appreciate our nation and celebrate Malaysia Day.
