Leadership Lesson #2 : Lifting The Lid

"In the past, when Saul was our king, you were the one who really led the forces of Israel. And the LORD told you, 'You will be the shepherd of my people Israel. You will be Israel's leader."2 Samuel 5:2.

Why did Saul as Israel's king, while David succeeded? The answer can be found in the Law of the Lid. Leadership ability is the lid that determines a person's level of effectiveness, you have to raise the lid on your leadership ability. David had many lids on his life, but they did not stop him:

1. His family
2. His leader
3. His Background
4. His youthfulness and inexperience

Ultimately, David became a great leader-yet not because he lacked limitations in life. He achieved much because he became a lid lifter.

Every leader has lids on his life; nobody is born without them. And they don't disappear when a person receives a title, achieves a position, or gets invested with power. The issue is not whether you have lids, but what you do about them.

My Home. Project No. 1

Presenting the first project in decorating my 'spacious' home and effort of making it as homey as I can, except family members are not around.

I don't my home to be cramped with too many inappropriate stuff. I just need a comfy place for me to lay myself after came back from work, watch TV and fall asleep.

Practicality is far more important!! As I mentioned earlier, this is only the 1st project. More works need to be done.

I bought this mirror from IKEA for RM17.90

That small coffee table is only RM39.00 and table lamp that cost me RM16.90.
I hate those curtains

With colourful candles on the top of it and that sofa

Do come to my home and lets us fellowship together, plus with delicious delicacies
