Image
The first concert of Worship GOD 2010 is awesome!! Incredibly awesome, beyond word and the crowd is 'insane'. Thanks to Sidney Mohede, a season worship leader and well known gospel singer with extraordinaire repertoire. Thanks Jesus for His humble servant Sidney, his experience with his former band GMB (Giving My Best) and True Worshipers (as front singer @ worship leader) has become a blessing to our younger generation. As he shared the word of God which taken Jeremiah 9:23-24 "Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." He encourage the congregation to change their mindset to seek His kingdom. "Don't shout and sing and dance because o...

Leadership Lesson #2 : Lifting The Lid

Image
"In the past, when Saul was our king, you were the one who really led the forces of Israel. And the LORD told you, 'You will be the shepherd of my people Israel. You will be Israel's leader." 2 Samuel 5:2. Why did Saul as Israel's king, while David succeeded? The answer can be found in the Law of the Lid. Leadership ability is the lid that determines a person's level of effectiveness, you have to raise the lid on your leadership ability. David had many lids on his life, but they did not stop him: 1. His family 2. His leader 3. His Background 4. His youthfulness and inexperience Ultimately, David became a great leader-yet not because he lacked limitations in life. He achieved much because he became a lid lifter. Every leader has lids on his life; nobody is born without them. And they don't disappear when a person receives a title, achieves a position, or gets invested with power. The issue is not whether you have lids, but what you do about them. What I say...

Leadership Lesson - 1st lesson

Image
"Are you willing to accept responsibility?" And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued. 1 Chron 21:17 John C. Maxwell lesson : Times of failure not only reveal a leader's true character, but also present opportunities for significant leadership lessons. After a major victory over the Philistines, King David made a major mistake. The king st ... opped trusting God for the defense of his nation and undertook a census to measure his military power. David's willingness to take responsibility for his foolish action demonstrated his depth of character. He repented and accepted punishment from the hand of God, trusting in the grace of God. Even so, David's error snuffed out the lives o...

Flash Mob @ Oprah Winfrey Show

During The Oprah Show 's 24th season kickoff party, Harpo staff and more than 20,000 people pulled off a massive surprise for an unsuspecting Oprah. The entire crowd performed a choreographed piece to the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling," and Oprah was not only shocked, she was thrilled! Award-winning director Michael Gracey says the interaction between the Black Eyed Peas and the crowd is what made the flash mob so extraordinary. "There's something really special when you take an audience and instead of just being passive and watching, you invite them to participate," he says. "That's why it was so magical for both parties. Two groups of people came together to create something that neither of them could have done alone."

TV3, Hari Raya, Iklan & Kontroversi

Image
